Do Not Drink … Play!

[ English | Deutsch | Español | Français | Italiano ]

If you enjoy having a a beer every so often, keep your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Leave your pocketbook, your money belt, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks at home. Only take whatever cash you expect to spend on refreshments, tips and few dollars you intend to throw away and keep the remainder behind.

Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You could experience a win after a boozy evening out with your comrades and be lucky enough to hook a marathon toss at a hot craps game. Keep that adventure considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you regularly consume alcohol and wager. The two simply do not go well together.

Leaving your moolah at home is a little dramatic, but precautionary measures for excessive behavior is a requirement. If you gamble to succeed, then do not drink alcohol and bet. If you like to burn your money without a concern, then drink all the no charge beer your stomach can handle, but do not carry charge cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your drunken brain squanders all the cash!

Allow me to carry this 1 step further. do not consume alcohol and then jump online to gamble in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my domicile, however since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can not drink and wager.

What’s the reason? Even though I don’t drink a lot, when I drink alcohol, it’s absolutely adequate to blur my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not gamble when you do. Both create an awful, and expensive, drink.
