Washington State Casinos

The state of Washington provides a number of casino and wagering options. A good many Washington casinos run by local Native bands are conveniently located near thoroughfares or cities. Twenty-seven Washington casinos are operated in Native lands. All of Washington’s casinos offer slots, roulette, black jack, craps, and electronic poker. Other gaming tables, like punto banco, poker in various forms, off-track betting, keno, and bingo are available at a few casinos. The gambling age changes by casino, with a few approving of wagering at 18, and others not until twenty-one. A couple of other casinos operate in Washington, as well, such as card rooms, or so-called mini-casinos. There are a few horse tracks in Washington, and wagering is available at all of them.

Twenty-four of Washington state’s 27 tribal casinos also provide an electronic type of scratch off lotto tickets. These machines have a $5 limit and operate using cards purchased at the casino, instead of cash. The minimum payout rate on these machines is legally seventy five percent, set by the state. Washington casinos are required to announce pay outs on slot machines.

Washington casinos vary from tiny freestanding operations to big resorts with hotels, places to eat, beauty spas, and entertainment. Some of the Washington casinos with resorts would make a great home base for a longer visit, allowing you to feel the natural beauty of Washington and make short excursions into large urban areas for sightseeing. Las Vegas style displays and entertainment are presented at a few Washington casinos.

Washington’s gambling rules allow for a fair amount of leeway with regard to authorized gambling in Washington casinos, as well as for humanitarian gaming. Net gaming, however, is illegal in Washington and is a class C felony. Net horse wagering is allowed in some conditions. Free or practice money net gaming is still approved. Washington casinos didn’t speak up on the new rules, even though they beyond question are positioned to benefit from them.

Washington casinos can be a fun diversion or day outing for Washington citizens, an outstanding way to have a night on the city, or an exciting break on a Washington holiday. Washington’s gambling rules permit exciting, legal, wagering all over the state in any of the many fine Washington casinos, so you’re sure to find one you’ll love, it doesn’t matter if you prefer the nickel slot machines or high-stakes poker.
